BBLADES Offers On-Line Ordering; New Efficiency from New Website
BBLADES Professional Propellers has added a new level of efficiency for customers ordering propellers through its new website, www.bblades.com. Any of the 20,000 propeller variations from eight manufacturers offered by BBLADES can be viewed and now ordered on-line.
“We will continue to spend a great deal of time consulting with our clients on the phone and through e-mail, says BBLADES President Brett Anderson. “Now, when a customer has evaluated and considered the information, they can order the correct propeller on their own time schedule.”
The new, secure website makes finding specific propellers or hub kits easier and allows customers to select their preferred method of shipping and pay with a credit card. The site contains propeller “know-how” from industry experts, applications for the BBLADES Bravo and BBLADES #6 Offshore Cleaver Demo programs and a Prop Slip Calculator.
“Our clients are experienced boaters,” Anderson says, “when they determine which brand, diameter and pitch they need it is easier to go on-line and order instead of picking up the phone.” Customers will also be able to order a new prop for Lab Finishing or other custom performance applications.
BBLADES is currently the exclusive outlet for the BBLADES Blaster, BBLADES Bravo OB, and Leading Edge Mud propellers ; the BSAFE Propeller Lock; and accessories for stowing or towing.
BBLADES Professional Propellers is a full service propeller company offering consultation, inspection and repair of any aluminum, nibral or stainless steel propellers; “Lab-Finishing” or “Blueprinting” of stainless steel propellers; competitive pricing on new props from Mercury, BBLADES, Hering, Hydromotive, Acme, Turbo, Stiletto and Signature; and the most comprehensive propeller testing program in the marine industry.

I have a Mirage plus 48 13704 23p Baja performance original prop for 97 Baja 22Hammer,can I send to you to have reconditioned,it has some bends and dings,I want to just have it back to original condition and polished, what would this cost to have done?Thank you for your time, sincerely Rjh
In the early/mid 1990’s while I was employed at Mercury Marine, Baja asked us to put their name/logo on the Mirage family of propellers. This was the prop of choice at that time. We electro-ethched the logo on. There was no difference in those propellers to the other Mirages are far as geometry is concerned It was just the log.
We definately can repair the propeller. It is very difficult to determine the cost without seeing the project. Typical stainless propeller repairs are $200 or less. A photo would better asist me in quoting you more accurately.
Thank you,
Brett
I recently put a 502/415hp engine in my 2000 powerquest raizor 22′. the boat previously had a 454/310hp engine. What prop/pitch would you recommend. Bravo1 outdrive. Thanks
Curt,
Since you are adding aprox. 100 additional HP to your specific hull, about a 2 inch pitch addition will be required to maintain the same rpm you currently have.
On your hull, 3 blade props tend to be the fastest on top end while 4 blade propellers give great low end and cruise speed for watersports and load carrying capacity.
A Lab Finished 4 blade would offer the best of both worlds. Call us anytime and we can offer some options as well as test propellers.
