Miami Boat Show Pricing Extended on BSAFE Propeller Locks™
After spending hundreds, if not thousands of dollars on new propellers, wouldn’t you hate to see them for sale on eBay, or worse, have them sold as scrap? Protect your prop investment with a BBLADES BSAFE Propeller Lock. From a 50-foot “go-fast” to a 15-foot john boat, BSAFE has you covered.
Our one-of-a-kind design incorporates a recessed locking device that is inaccessible to would-be thieves. The prop nut is shielded by a stylish, hydrodynamic cone that is secured to the prop nut assembly with a locking mechanism requiring a specially designed “key” for removal, and then capped for additional security. A variety of key patterns are used to further minimize the risk of theft.
The hard-anodized aluminum cone body shields a sealed, water-tight brass and stainless steel locking mechanism that offers protection 24/7; in the water, in transit or in storage. Once installed, the BSAFE Propeller Lock never has to be removed until the prop is replaced or sent to BBLADES for fine-tuning or repair.
There are cheaper propeller locks available, but you won’t find a better design, better materials, better theft protection or better “bling,” that serves and protects any brand of propeller, on any size or brand of outboard or sterndrive. If you order before April 15, 2013, you can practically steal a BSAFE lock at the incredible price of just $69.99 for outboard and sterndrive locks, and just $109 for Six Drive compatible locks. Take advantage of this special offer now, because you won’t be seeing it again.
Try Before You Buy with the BBLADES Test Prop Program
Want to make sure that prop you’re about to buy is exactly the right prop for your boat? Of course you do, because even after the lengthiest consulting sessions, the most knowledgeable boaters and prop shops can’t guarantee the outcome of propeller theory on a given boat. Well, the BBLADES Test Prop Program allows you to “try before you buy” to assure theory becomes reality. And BBLADES is the ONLY place on the planet where you can test Hering Offshore Cleaver propellers.
And as spring arrives in earnest, the time is now to make sure the props you want to test are available. BBLADES allows boaters 15-days to test propellers to establish baseline numbers or determine future modifications. If the prop works, just complete the purchase transaction over the phone. If the performance isn’t quite what you expected, our professional prop consultants will work with you to determine the proper combinations and ship a new set of test props when the originals are returned.
The boater is responsible for a per propeller test fee of $45 for standard propellers and $200 for Hering Cleavers, plus shipping. Cleaver props require an additional security deposit, applicable to the sale price. In addition, the customer is responsible for any repair or replacement costs if props are damaged, and a daily late fee assessed to propellers returned after the 15-day test window. Unfortunately, the BBLADES Test Prop Program is available only to boaters in the continental United States. Go ahead and look around, we dare you to find a better test prop program anywhere – assuming you can find one anywhere. Give us a call today and we’ll get the process started.
Do You “Speak” Prop?
Pitch, rake, diameter, cupping: What’s it all mean?
A lot of people think they understand propeller technology and terminology, but do they really? How many times have you asked a boating question only to get as many different answers as people asked? Check out the “Props 101” section of the BBLADES website and be sure you have it right. Not only what these terms mean by definition, but what they mean for the performance of your boat. Remember, your propeller is the final link that connects all that horsepower to the water. Make sure you are getting the most out of every single pony.
And, as long as you’re already at the website, check out our BBLADES Blaster, BBLADES Bravo OB, and Leading Edge Mud props for you duck hunters. We also sell and service Mercury, Hering, Hydromotive, Turbo, Signature, Acme, and Stiletto propellers, making BBLADES your one-stop shop for just about any propeller you would need at very competitive prices. You can also find hub kits, vent plugs and a complete line of accessories from prop covers and prop storage ideas to spacer kits and apparel. BBLADES has it all, and it all can be ordered on-line, any time.

Lee,
Depending on the 29 pitch propeller you have, there may be some things that we can do to that propeller to add rpm. De-pitching, reducing blade area and Lab Finishing are some of the options.
If the boat gets on plane easy and runs efficiently, we can determine the optimum route. Call us when you can with the speed you are achieving at WOT and we can offer some advice.
Thank you for posting your question.
