BBlades Expands propeller lines to include Nibral ski boat, luxury cruisers and sport fishing yachts
BBLADES Professional Propellers has announced the addition of the Acme Propeller line to its offerings, expanding its product line to include ski, tow, and wake boat propellers as well as wheels for the larger, usually diesel-powered luxury cruiser and sport fishing yacht applications.
Michigan-based Acme boasts 75 years of design and manufacturing experience with its own foundry and state-of-the-art CNC machining facilities which produces certified castings, components and assemblies to exacting specifications and standards, including military applications. The company offers unrivaled accuracy and consistency through its process, claiming to eliminate the need for further customization of its props, greatly reduced cavitation and a consistency that produces negligible rpm and performance variation between matched parts.
The addition of the Acme line allows BBLADES to offer application-specific 3 and 4 blade Nibral ski/tow propellers in 50 different sizes in addition to propellers up to 48-inches in diameter for the luxury and sport fishing yacht markets. In all, Acme offers 1000 different sizes, configurations and designs, including surface-piercing and modified surface-piercing performance props.
“Offering Acme Propellers allows BBLADES to serve customers we have not been able to help before,” says proprietor Brett Anderson, “and allows us to help existing customers with any and all of their propeller needs. It was a natural progression for us to move into these specialized boating markets.”
Based in Princeton, Wisconsin, BBLADES Professional Propellers is a full service propeller company offering consultation, inspection and repair of any aluminum or stainless steel propellers; “Lab-Finishing” or “Blueprinting” of stainless steel propellers; competitive pricing on new props from Mercury, Hering, Hydromotive, Acme and Turbo; and the most comprehensive propeller testing program in the marine industry.
